Not that I didn’t have fun this weekend, but it’d be nice to have a weekend where I didn’t feel like I had to be somewhere at sometime. It’s a few minutes into Monday (technically) and I’m vaguely uninspired and rather tired from running around over the last few days.
I kind of got caught up in playing with different brush types as opposed to thinking about what I actually wanted to make with them, and ended up with this afgter I was able to marshal my thoughts:
It smacks vaguely of pointillism because once again I got stuck on using my scatter brush, although this time I actually tried (“tried” being the operative word) to use it to build up texture instead of painting with it the whole way through until I just started painting the rest of the piece with it, because I kept getting confused with the other brushes I was trying out and I’m tired/lazy.
