As much as I am enamored with the idea of the Grootslang being more like a dinosaur, I miss the elephant-headed monsters I was trying to cobble together. I’m leaning a bit back towards doing something like the long-snouted head in the top of this sketch, but the neck and body remain to be determined.
For now, here is a spitballish kind of sketch I did inbetween other things. I promised myself that I would do another one, but I never got around to it:
