My reference for this was actually my Gargantuan Black Dragon figure, which has some strange texturing going on with the face that I couldn’t quite capture, and I ended up adding some scaling around the eyes as a result. Some of it might have been intended to be scales, but it just all looks kind of wrinkly on the sculpt.
