A day or two ago, I was wondering how long the streak of Really Nice Drawings might last- when I might just not have the ability to dedicate the time necessary, something like that.
Tonight wasn’t quite that night, but I feel like the drawing suffered a bit because I was mildly distracted and pretty tired:

I had wanted to do something bird-influenced because of some reference photos I found, but the pebbly scales and lobstered armor on the legs didn’t quite seem to fit the elegant, soft-looking dragon whose forequarters I ended up drawing. I couldn’t figure out how to reconcile this, so I ended up leaving it as-is.
