So while I was shoveling the backlog out the proverbial door and onto the Interwebs tonight, this happened:

Free-racoon-eyes is a good friend of mine that I don’t get to see very often, so when she said that, I decided that I should at least try to revisit this cute little accidental dragon:
When I drew the original, I thought that there might be tiny little forelimbs grasping the branch that we couldn’t see. Now I’m not so sure. While I was working on the one above, I had the thought that I might rotate the shoulders some to make it easier to draw (I’m also still not sure how the extra joint works on a flap), as if the dragon were just letting its wings dangle while it hung upside downish. Instead, I turned my reference over so that it would stop confusing me (leave me alone, I’m tired).
I need to pick this up again when I’m a bit more focused and not so wrung out from mass posting. But at least we’re caught up now.
