I might have been thinking of the armadillo girdled lizard or maybe just armadillos, or even more Pokemon stuff when I started sketching around, because I ended up with an adorable little desert-y looking creature that doesn’t quite seem draconic to me at first blush, though I very much set out to draw a dragon.
