No real idea tonight, I just kind of let the pencil roam and tried to make sense of it partway through.
I started off with an angle that was clearly going to be a wing, but there wouldn’t have been enough room for the rest of the dragon, so it became smaller and thicker. I’m not sure where the Popeye-like forearms came from, but they seem to fit.
I don’t really like the hind legs, I started off with something more like a lizard’s splayed leg, but it didn’t seem to fit the rest of the bulky form. The thicker upper leg seemed important, so I kept it, but in order not to break the line of the “floor,” that is to keep all the limbs on the same plane, the midleg and foot got a little funky.
