To try and settle my mind on the subject, I went looking for birds in flight on the Google, and found this charming little video by these folks. It distracted me from my self-consciousness but since the clips weren’t proper loops (and I’m actually wondering why they weren’t- it would have been a lot better if they’d followed one bird through a bit of flying as opposed to so many) the jury’s still out for now, though I kind of feel like I’m probably not doing it as badly as I think.
