I don’t know if it was pollen or this one lady with a powerful scent today (probably a mixture of both, as I’ve been home some 8 hours or more now and my eyes are still watering), but I really wish my face would quit leaking.
Probably because of that, I found myself drawing some beaky faces tonight. I killed some darlings and settled on this one:
The lighting feels a little inconsistent, but I feel like I did a good thing with trying to show the different planes of the beak and the shadows between the plates. If this whole leaky face situation were not so fierce, I would probably have made the scaling make a little more sense as well.
