I couldn’t leave well enough alone, and decided to go forward with that Dragon Broodmother token:
At first, I wanted to show the hatchling in flight. But the proportions of the original art are so long that even if I made them stubbier and underdeveloped, it would be difficult to show it in anything aside from how Jean-Sebastien Rossbach had it, with the long neck curled down, and the even longer whiplike tail curled up.
So in the end, I opted to go with something that (in my mind anyway) implied more what the dragon was, a hungry little nestling looking to be fed (or fed upon).
