I (finally) saw The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey. I must say that I wished I’d seen it in the theaters, because it had a lot of stunning visuals and well-planned scenes that my home television tried its best to do justice.
One of the things I found myself liking best were the scenes with about Smaug, which surprised me because the dragon never really gets any screen time- his terrible majesty is alluded to more than shown, and that caught my attention more than a lovingly-rendered CG model probably would have.
