So I wanted to draw a dragon breathing fire and basically on a rampage, but then I got halfway through it and decided that something a little inspired by The Flight of Dragons might be in order, mostly because I don’t think that I’ve ever done a direct homage, only some speculative ones.
I think I will spend some time examining the Dickensonian model over he next few days. I’m not sure if I’m going to adhere strictly to the movie and/or book illustrations, like tonight’s sketch was rather heavily influenced by.
