After a bit of scribbling, I came up with this dragon tonight:
I’ll admit, I wasn’t sure about things at first. My original intention was to draw a massive, lumbering creature, viewed from below, to give it a greater sense of scale. Somehow, that didn’t quite work out, and I ended up with this little fellow, and even named him “Gomph.” And although 10 seconds of Googling reveals that it’s also the name of a brand of leatherworking tool, I think that it fits.
I really like the wings for some reason, along with the stubby feet. Hopefully I’ll be albe to draw this one again and it’s not just a happy accident.
