Thinking on the recent “legendary” dragon sketches made me think vaguely about the historical background of the western dragon (after a somewhat inconclusive search for other named legendary dragons), which I have touched on somewhat briefly in the past.
So with the Western dragon’s poisonous (and venomous) nature, as well as the morphology that some of the more popular legendary dragons that I can remember (though cannot find descriptions for at present, Like the Tatzelwurm, Lambton Wurm and the Lindwurm) in mind, I did this:
From what I’ve read, old-timey dragons had two or no legs (snakey!)[,] were not sleek nor streamlined, ad were highly, highly poisonous as well as venomous, despoiling the land with their very presence.
