So I made a new station on Pandora tonight. It was based on the song “Loki, God of Fire” by Manowar. I was hoping for something a little more, um, mythical than what Pandora gave me back, but musically, it all made sense.
Anyhoo, while staring at my sketchbook and not knowing what to do, I decided to draw an anthropomorphic dragon with an axe. Seemed simple enough. Suddenly, I decided that the axe should be a guitar.
I think I know what my next D&D character will be: some kind of draconic bard who carries around a big ol’ lute (or similar stringed instrument) which doubles as a two-handed melee weapon. I’m also pretty happy with the scales, though I probably should have varied the sizes a bit more.
